What building in Fenelon Falls involves

Much of the shoreline around Fenelon Falls is regulated by Kawartha Conservation, and work in or along the Trent–Severn Waterway involves Parks Canada. For a waterfront home, setbacks from the water, flood limits and the slope of the lot decide where the house goes.

Building permits are issued by the City of Kawartha Lakes. Lots outside the village usually use a well and septic system, and some have rock or shallow soil. We check all of this before any design work.

My project started before the pandemic. Work was about 30% complete and going well. The pandemic hit me a bit financially which stressed me out about the project. The Henley team helped reverse engineer and descope some of the project to suit my new affordability. They handled this with class and professionalism which im sure created extra work for them. Can I build a year-round home on my Fenelon Falls cottage lot?
