Farmhouse and country home renovations in Scugog
Much of Scugog Township is farmland and rolling countryside, dotted with farmhouses, barns and country homes on large lots. Many of these houses have stood for generations. Their bones are often good, but the kitchens, bathrooms, insulation and systems belong to another era.
We renovate these homes for modern life: country kitchens with room to gather, new roofing and siding, efficient windows and heating, and layouts that suit the family living there now.

Renovating on a rural Scugog property
Permits come from the Township of Scugog. Most rural homes use a private well and septic system, and lots near wetlands or watercourses may need a review by the Kawartha Region Conservation Authority. Access for deliveries on long lanes is planned too.

Respecting a family farmhouse
Some Scugog farmhouses have been in the same family for generations. Owners often want to keep that story visible: an old beam reused in the kitchen, original floorboards refinished, the front porch rebuilt as it once was. We plan those details from the start so the history is part of the finished home.
