Renovations in Brooklin
Brooklin has grown from a small village into a busy community, so its houses range from older homes near Baldwin Street to subdivisions built in the 1990s and since. Many of those newer homes are now 20 or 30 years old, with builder-grade finishes, dated exteriors and layouts that no longer suit a growing family.
We help owners give these homes a second life: new exteriors with stone and siding, reworked entries and mudrooms, kitchens that open to the family room, and better use of every floor.

Planning a renovation in Brooklin
Brooklin is part of the Town of Whitby, which issues the building permits. Homes on the rural edges may use a well and septic, and lots near the creeks can involve CLOCA. We confirm these early so the design is not held up later.

Homes that grew with the family
A lot of Brooklin houses were bought when the children were small. Now there are teenagers, a home office, sports gear and more cars in the driveway. A renovation can rebalance the house for this stage of life, with better storage, a second family space and rooms that finally fit how the household runs.

After receiving a few quotes from different contractors to do a full renovation of our kitchen and dining room, we chose Henley because of how comfortable Nick and his team made us feel right from the first conversation.
From start to finish it took just over three weeks for the team to demolish our ugly, dated, and dark kitchen, and fully rebuild a stunning bright and light new space, designed with style and functionality in mind.
The Henley team was very responsive (shout out to Tom and Michelle), and kept us fully informed throughout the project with the Buildertrend app. They uploaded photos and notes to the app daily, so we always knew where the project was at and how things were progressing. We loved the transparency of this, especially not being at home through the reno.
Thank you Henley Contracting for completely transforming our space.
We are so happy with the final results!
