Renovations of Bowmanville homes
Bowmanville's older streets around the downtown have some of the finest houses in Durham: yellow and red brick Victorians, tall windows, decorative gables and deep porches. Owners of these homes usually want two things at once: to keep the character and to live with modern kitchens, bathrooms and comfort.
That balance is the heart of an older-home renovation. We study the house, keep what is worth keeping, and plan new work so it fits.

Renovating an older Bowmanville house
Houses built a century ago can hide old wiring, uneven framing and little insulation. We look closely during planning, explain what we find, and build a budget with room for surprises. Permits come from the Municipality of Clarington, and any heritage approvals are confirmed before exterior work is designed.

Old and new, side by side
In a Bowmanville Victorian, the best results come from letting old and new sit honestly together: original brick and trim next to clean modern cabinets, restored windows next to a new walk-in shower. We help you choose what to restore, what to replace and where a modern element will make the original details stand out more.
