Renovating on a sloped Cameron Lake lot
On a hillside, getting materials and equipment to the house takes planning, and drainage around a walkout matters. Permits come from the City of Kawartha Lakes. Cameron Lake is on the Trent–Severn Waterway, so work near or in the water involves Parks Canada. We sort out access, drainage and approvals before pricing.

Often, yes, depending on the slope, the foundation and drainage. It usually needs structural work and a building permit from the City of Kawartha Lakes.
