Building at the bottom of a slope

On a sloped lot, getting materials and equipment down to the water takes planning, and sometimes the work is easier from the water side. We look at access, water depth and the shoreline before design, so the construction plan works for the site.

Because Cameron Lake is on the Trent–Severn Waterway, boathouses and docks involve Parks Canada, and the City of Kawartha Lakes may need to issue a permit as well.

Usually, yes. Access for materials and equipment needs planning, and sometimes part of the work is done from the water. We sort this out before construction is priced.
