Approvals for a boathouse on Balsam Lake
Balsam Lake is part of the Trent–Severn Waterway, so building in or over the water involves Parks Canada, and the City of Kawartha Lakes may also need to issue a permit. What can be built, how large it can be and where it can sit all depend on those reviews.
