Choosing the right designer
Some owners arrive with an architect already chosen; others have no idea where to start. Either works. We can join a team you have already formed, or suggest designers whose style and fees suit the project. What matters is that the builder sits at the table while the first sketches are drawn, not after the last ones.
Why the builder joins early
Builders see costs and construction problems that are hard to spot on a drawing: a beam that will be expensive, a foundation detail that will slow the schedule, a window size that is hard to source. Raising those points at the sketch stage keeps the design on budget and the build on time.

After receiving a few quotes from different contractors to do a full renovation of our kitchen and dining room, we chose Henley because of how comfortable Nick and his team made us feel right from the first conversation.
From start to finish it took just over three weeks for the team to demolish our ugly, dated, and dark kitchen, and fully rebuild a stunning bright and light new space, designed with style and functionality in mind.
